In order that all may know, this signifies that Kathleen S. McGowan is a member in good standing of the New Haven N.A.C., a Native American Traditional Organization, as a Native American Practitioner and Traditional Spiritual Leader.
Kathleen is duly authorized to conduct healing ceremonies, marriages, baptisms and other duties according to her calling as a Medicine Woman.
Kathleen's current designation is Medicine Woman;
as such, she is empowered to perform her duty as a healer to the best of her knowledge and understanding, and so long as she continues to uphold the conditions of her covenant, she is upheld in her calling by the Elders and councils of the New Haven N.A.C. and Native American Traditional Organization.

A Brief History Background
In 2004, the United States government passed a law regulating how the citizens of the United States can talk about healing properties of plants. In the USA the essential oils are considered an over-the-counter drug and the average person cannot use the term "essential oils" when describing the healing properties of plants. The Native Americans, however, still have that right.

On October 18th, 2011... I, Kathleen S. McGowan was Spiritually adopted into the Oklevueha Native American Church of Missouri, Inc., and in 2013 was adopted as a Medicine Woman.
As a Medicine Woman, I am able to share my knowledge of the benefits of our sacred healing plants and other healing truths. Throughout this site and associated linked sites, I will refer to the liquid plant extracts as both essential oils, as other countries around the world call them, or as liquid copals using the Native American term.
It is my hope that the information on this site will help you learn about the sacred liquid copals and their traditional uses, as well as the vitally important INFORMED HEALTH & FREEDOM DECISION educational information that is shared with you on this and associated websites.
